LAHORE: 450,000 government employees have already been trained to participate in the sixth census of Pakistan which begins from March 15.
Pakistan Bureau of Statistics stated that the census would be conducted in three phases and would conclude by May 25.
Every team on census duty would include a civil servant accompanied by military personnel and security support would be ensured by intelligence and civil forces.
Schools would remain open and exams would be conducted as scheduled.
The census is expected to cost around Rupees 17billion and would also gather information about the Bedouin and transgender communities.
The census form would be filed by ball point pens rather than pencils.
